Nomads Residencies
At Sympan, we believe that meaningful work needs meaningful space. While our residency program hosts selected creators and artists from around the world, we open our doors to a broader community — digital nomads, writers, designers, developers, remote workers, and creative professionals seeking an inspiring, grounded place to live and work.
This is not your typical co-working hub.
Sympan offers something quieter.
More personal. More atmospheric.
Housed in a 1910s, restored, historic building in Piraeus — once a home to harbor workers, now a place of creative exchange — our rooms offer a slower pace, a deeper sense of place, and the kind of calm that’s hard to find in a fast-scrolling world.

We provide:
Private rooms for long-term stays
Strong, reliable Wi-Fi in all spaces
Dedicated in-room work areas
Private kitchenettes in the rooms
Shared access to our open-use space for meetings, thinking, filming, calls, or collaboration
A flexible booking policy tailored to longer stays
Sympan supports the flow of remote living without the distractions of big digital nomad hotspots. Here, work happens in the quiet mornings, in the stone echo of sympan, in the slowness of the port outside your window.
You might share a coffee with a visual artist in residence, cross paths with a researcher staying upstairs, or find yourself working alone in our open space as light pours through the metal web-roof of our back garden. These casual, quiet interactions are part of the rhythm of Sympan — not programmed, but unfolding naturally. Take part in our events, exhibitions, private dinners and workshops, all while working remotely and living the authentic Piraeus and Athenian life.
We don’t offer daily networking events or loud common areas. What we offer is intention: a space that respects solitude, honors creativity, and welcomes you to arrive as you are — with your laptop, your time zones, your unfinished drafts, your restlessness.
Sympan is for those working remotely who want to feel present.
For those who crave both privacy and connection.
For those who want their temporary home to feel like part of something.
